Performance One Weightlifting Club Members Danny Kimball, Zach White, Morgan Huppenthal, Ashley Campbell, Ella Pfund, and Jessica Walters qualify for the USA Weightlifting American Open Series Regional event in New Mexico.
Danny Snatched 75 kilos and Clean & Jerked 102 kilos for a 177 kilo Total. He will compete in the 73 kilo weight class. Zach White Snatched 105 kilos and Clean & Jerked 125 kilos for a 230 kilo Total and will compete in the 89 kilo weight class. Morgan Huppenthal Snatched 57 kilos and Clean & Jerked 78 kilos for a 135 kilo Total and will compete in the 64 kilo weight class. Ashley Campbell Snatched 57 kilos and Clean & Jerked 77 kilos for a 124 kilo Total. She will compete in the 64 kilo weight class. Ella Pfund Snatched 45 kilos and Clean and Jerked 51 kilos for a 96 kilo Total and will compete in the 45 kilo Youth Division weight class. Lastly Jessica Walters Snatched 60 kilos and Clean & Jerked 80 kilos for a 140 kilo Total. She will compete in the 71 kilo Masters Division Weight class.
Along with this group Nate Cerwinske will be joining the team as we head to Albuquerque, New Mexico on Sept 16th, 2021. Nate is coming off a 4th place finish at the Senior National Weightlifting Championships in the 81 kilo weight class. He has been training very intensely and is ready to dominate in this competition.
