Coach Joe Micela of Performance One Advanced Sports Training, Inc, in Mesa, Arizona lead the best 15 and Under Boys Pan Am Weightlifting Team to a Gold Medal placing at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado in August 2006. The US Team beat out teams from Mexico, Barbados, and Canada for the Gold. “I am very proud of the effort by our young men, the US has a lot of promising up and coming talented lifters”. Coach Micela was selected by the Board of Directors for USA Weightlifting to Coach this years team.
