Performance One Coaches

Performance One Coaches use Olympic Weightlifting movements to develop strength and power. Research has shown that Olympic Weightlifting exercises (Ex. Snatch, Clean & Jerk, and Squats) produce higher power outputs than conventional weight training. (Garhammer, 1991)

Recent research from the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, CO has shown that athletes that train using Olympic lifting have higher vertical jumps than athletes who don't perform them. (Stone, 2003) Olympic lifters at the OTC have recorded some of the highest vertical jumps of any athlete ever tested. The Vertical Jump Test is one of the purest forms of testing explosive power that strength and conditioning coaches use from around the world.

We use this form of training to develop functional strength, flexibility, and power. We also use a variety of free weights movements that condition the athletes' body to handle a greater work capacity.

This training and conditioning system has produced champions at the High School, College, and Professional Levels.
